Something Special in the Nation's Capital

15.7.2012

Once you’ve made your way up the stairs and then through the front door, you will be surprised to see what’s inside. It’s a bright, open and welcoming office that is comprised of client service, creative, digital, production and finance teams.

From the moment you walk in, you’ll notice the ‘culture’ is alive and bustling.

Located in the heart of the ‘Canberra CBD’ and high above an Irish Pub, it proves to be a convenient location particularly when it comes to relaxing on a Friday afternoon.  Whilst a relaxed office culture is offered in Canberra, the demands of the Australian Federal Government and commercial clients such as Colliers International keep the teams busy.

It’s exciting times for Adcorp Canberra as we endeavour to provide clients with communication solutions that touch on some of the latest industry developments.

We have seen staggering developments in the way clients are approaching their advertising and we would like to believe we are at the forefront of these shifts. We strive to stay at the forefront of these developments by regularly attending industry events, guest lectures and forming close relationships with media across the country.

With access to some of the best tools within the industry, Adcorp Canberra has been able to plan and implement public notice, recruitment and tender advertising for clients including:

  • Australian Electoral Commission - 2010 Australian Federal Election

  • Australian Bureau of Statistics – 2011 Australian Census

  • Defence Force Recruiting – Army Reserve Tactical Recruitment

  • Defence Signals Directorate – Cyber Operations

  • Murray Darling Basin Authority – Water Management Plan

  • Australian Electoral Commission – preplanning and mock election

  • Australian Taxation Office – 2012 Graduate Recruitment

  • Sydney Harbour Trust Foundation – OUTpost

As a highly dynamic and creative collective of individuals, team members are extremely active and pursue a diverse range of activities outside of the workplace. However, it has been known for some of these interests to make their way back in to the office.

Some interests include:

  • Photography

  • Graphic design

  • Playing music

  • Running

  • Cycling

  • Yoga

  • Riding dirt bikes

  • Cooking & eating

In addition to this, you’ll find a very charitable, sharing group of people that enjoy supporting one another and giving back. The office has recently participated in the RSPCA Cupcake Day, Movember, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, Gruen Transfer pitch and a team will be representing at the Sun-Herald City2Surf in August. 2012 has been and will no doubt continue to be an exciting time for the team here in Canberra!
